My latest jaunt to the sun saw me travelling with Exodus to two lesser-known Greek Islands, Evia and Skyros. Mountainous and less commercial than some of the other Greek islands, Evia & Skyros have a charm of their own.

The holiday was split evenly between the two islands; the first few days spent exploring the mountains of Evia during a two-day backpack before taking the ferry to Skyros Town for the middle section of the trip. Centered at Skyros Town, built into the rock overlooking the sea, this part of the holiday comprised a number of day walks about the island, the forest offering a remarkable contrast to the rocky terrain of Evia.

Both islands were magnificent and it would be difficult for anyone to choose between them; while Skyros offers more "gentle" olde-worlde charm, seemingly lost to the centuries, Evia is a place that boasts rugged mountain grandness.
